Tiling array
Tiling array, like DNA tile lattice, deoxyribonucleic acid tile tube and DNA origami tile array, are subject to ongoing research as shown in figure 1 and 2. A lot of the reported synthesis procedures include thermal annealing, electron beam evaporation or self-assembling during the preparation. Amongst the most actively researched properties of tiling array are melting point, photocurrent and photoemission current density. Very often tiling array are characterized by either atomic force microscopy, transmission electron microscopy or fluorescence microscopy. High impact articles within this field report applications in nanobiotechnology, drug delivery or raw materials/precursors/templates.
