Multi-walled carbon nanotube, like MWCNT, multi-walled carbon nanotube yarn and single-walled carbon nanotubes, are subject to ongoing research as shown in figure 1 and 2. A lot of the reported synthesis procedures include CVD, filtering or oxidation during the preparation. Amongst the most actively researched properties of multi-walled carbon nanotube are colloidal stability, cyclic voltammogram and potential. Very often multi-walled carbon nanotube are characterized by either transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy or Raman spectroscopy. High impact articles within this field report applications in catalysis, sensors (excluding biosensors) or medicine/veterinary.
